what's your sorry for?

i admire GMA when she broke her silence regarding the controversial Gloria-Garci tape. it's really hard for a leader of a country to confess to the people her mistakes especially when the subject is about the election.
however, knowing that the majority of the common people believed that it was her talking to Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano, she didn't make any confirmation if it was Garci on the other line. her statement become more irritating when she asked for forgiveness. for what?
first, GMA admitted that she made several calls to different individual including a Comelec official but firmly explained that the election result was already done by the time she talked to the latter.
she said that the election period was already finished on the time of the conversation, there's no need for her to explain coz no laws were violated. but she made it clear that such action was done due to lapse of judgment and she only did it to protect her vote. was that she's sorry for?
but how about, FPJ's, Lacson's or Villanueva's vote? doesn't she care to protect her rival's ballot too since she's the reigning leader of the country then? remember that the president's biggest obligation is to give justice to the election process and protect her countymen's right to choose their own leader. such a selfish gloria she was. tsk. tsk. tsk.
