Oskar Schindler, anyone?

Oskar Schindler: Power is when we have every justification to kill, and we don't.
Amon Goeth: You think that's power?
Oskar Schindler: That's what the Emperor said. A man steals something, he's brought in before the Emperor, he throws himself down on the ground. He begs for his life, he knows he's going to die. And the Emperor... pardons him. This worthless man, he lets him go.
Amon Goeth: I think you are drunk.
Oskar Schindler: That's power, Amon. That is power.

guess your thinking why i posted this one hah? well, i watched this film (for the nth time) last Sunday night along with two other films - tears of the sun and toy story (1,2,3) - in one seat. believe it or not!
but of course, Schindler always captivate my introspective aspect. i wonder if the Philippines will have a man like him today. now that the country is somewhat in a "holocaust" where the oppressed always lose and succumbed to death and hunger; where the penniless are the victims of crime and immorality. sorry for my radical view.
i wish there is one like Oskar Schindler who will reach out and throw all his wealth for one's existence.

Clearly, this is one of the most memorable films ever made.
