Ugly result of "Pilipinas Kay Ganda"

The public official behind the controversial "Pilipinas kay Ganda" slogan, Tourism Undersecretary Vicente Romano III, resigned. It was barely a week after the preview launching of the new tourism brand.
He even apologize to President Benigno Aquino III and the entire Filipino people for rushing about the country's marketing brand but firmly denied the issue on plagiarism.
Romano was the former chief of Aquino's new media bureau during the campaign period. He was also a part of the Black and White Movement.
His assignment being the undersecretary for planning and promotions in the tourism department also drew controversy because he was known as a specialist in information technology. But Romano also has a background in strategic marketing.
