thank you...farewell

I cannot exactly tell what my younger sister felt when our beloved grandmother departed from us. She's reluctant to show her emotions during the wake but suffice it to say, she's wearing a Mona Lisa smile. She didn't even bother to take a glance at our grandma's casket.
It was our Grandma who took care of Kat when our parents relationship was on the rocks.
We were separated from each other - me living with my grandparents (mother side) in Quezon, and my three siblings with our relatives in my father side.
Tita Lo, as we fondly call our grandma, acted as my little sisters' doting mother, and until now that our parents reconciled and Kat turned into a beautiful and smart lady, Tita Lo still continues to give her tender loving care. And I really thank Tita Lo for that.
Losing someone dearly is indeed hard to accept, especially when she's been with you in your entire life. To Tita Lo, may you rest in peace with the Lord. We Love You.
